Privacy Policy

Plain-language summary of what we store and why.

    What we collect

For visitors, nothing that identifies you. You can browse mosques and prayer times without an account, and we do not require you to sign in to see any public page. There are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

For mosque administrators who register, we store your name and email address as provided by Google, plus the mosque details you enter: name, address, contact details, description and prayer times.

    Signing in

Google is the only way to sign in. There is no password to create, and we never see your Google password. From Google we receive your name and email address, which we use to identify you as the administrator of your mosque.

You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

    How mosque details are used

Mosque details and prayer times are published publicly once approved — that is the entire purpose of the site. Please only publish contact details the mosque is happy to make public.

Listings are reviewed before they appear. Until then they are visible only to you and to reviewers.

We do not sell any of this information or share it for advertising.

    Services we send data to

To place a mosque on a map without asking administrators for coordinates, we send address details to third parties during registration. We send only what is needed, and only for mosque addresses — never anything about visitors.

PIN code lookup: your 6-digit PIN code is sent to India Post (api.postalpincode.in) to fill in the city and state.

Map location: the mosque address, or a Google Maps link you paste, is sent to OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service to determine coordinates. If you paste a shortened Google Maps link, our server opens it to read the location it points to.

    Cookies and local storage

We use a single cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site.

While you are filling in the mosque registration form, a draft is saved in your own browser so you do not lose your work if you leave and come back. It stays on your device, is never sent to us until you submit, and is cleared once the mosque is registered.

    Removing your data

Mosque administrators can request removal of their account and mosque listing at any time through the contact page. We will action the request and confirm once complete.
